Future Goals

New Hope has a two-fold purpose: To help heal hurting people; and to equip God’s people to help others.

It was the first part of our two-fold purpose that God revealed first— that we are to be a home mission work, to provide Biblical Counseling services to hurting people free of charge.

Then God began to send many different people to us from many different locations and directions, all saying: God has revealed to me that this is going to be a much further reaching ministry.

We believe God has placed these things in our hearts and has sent people to us to confirm it. He also confirms it with His Word. Acts 1:8 gives this commission: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Speaking at that time to the Believers in Jerusalem, this provides the progressive steps in mission work. We see that New Hope is to follow the same steps. We want to share with you the vision God is giving us for this ministry. Many of these things will come to pass in the future, but we serve a God who “speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed” (Romans 4:17b - AMP). And we believe He wants us to do the same.

God has given us the vision for each of the following areas of New Hope ministry and mission:

To always first take care of the local mission work of our own New Hope Counseling Center.

Full-time men and women counseling teams to meet the growing urgent needs of counseling for hurting people in our area.

A professional website including our mission, vision, resource store, on-line New Hope classes, serving as a site to minister to and disciple others.

Seminars at many locations in this and the surrounding areas with trained leader teams facilitating.

Mass production of our materials for the following:

—New Hope Counseling Center Ministry Kit

—New Hope for Spiritual Growth 3-Book Series Kits

—New Hope for Spiritual Growth Seminar Kit

—New Hope for Freedom Jail/Ministry Materials

—Graduate Program: Warriors of the King Handbook

—Devotional Book from New Hope Materials

—Children of Hope Handbooks

—All materials translated into other languages

Own our own building with a New Hope Gift Shop at the entrance and a Distribution Center. Added staff to aid in the shipping and handling of these materials from the central location in Centerville, Iowa.

New Hope Conferences:

—A Praise and Worship Team to travel throughout the United States as various conferences are held.

—New Hope Graduates to give testimonials and speak about the various New Hope materials.

—Main Speaker – Spotlight something from our materials.

—Materials and kits available for purchase.

A travel staff– to go to a location that is setting up with our Counseling Center Ministry Kit, to help them adapt the ministry materials to their ministry, and/or conduct Seminars.

A full-time Prayer Staff.

New Hope will be able to bless God’s people by employing a large full-time staff.

New Hope Counselor Handbooks used as curriculum in Bible Colleges.

New Hope Counselor Materials used by Mission Boards to train and prepare Missionaries for the field. They can then take those materials with them and use them on their field.

Missionaries in foreign fields, as well as in the United States, experiencing the power of God in their work as warriors of the King, leading people to Christ and experiencing salvation as they have never known before. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and they shall sow bountifully and reap bountifully (2 Corinthians 9:6).

As God continues to expand this ministry, He will call His people to meet the needs of the many “New Hope” type counseling centers developed using the New Hope pattern.

The New Hope materials put into a child’s form called Children of Hope. (God has given us a burden for the children of Uganda, and having these materials translated for their help and healing.)

As we continue to be obedient and prepare to fulfill all of the commission and vision God is giving us, He continues molding us spiritually, physically, and emotionally. “But now, O LORD, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand” (Isaiah 64:8).
